“I’ll will definitely be around next year” – Ab de Villiers confirms his return to RCB for IPL 2023

AB de Villiers

After spending almost a decade with RCB, Ab de Villiers decided to retire from the IPL saying that 2021 was his last season. However, after a year away from the biggest T20 tournament, ABD has confirmed that he wants back and it will be with RCB only. The South African might come back as a player or a coach, something that he hasn’t decided on yet.

Ab de Villiers joined RCB back in 2011 from Delhi Daredevils. Soon enough he became one of the biggest players and arguably the most popular entertainers of the game. Nicknamed Mr. 360, it was his ability to hit the ball all over the park that fans fall in love with him. With 5162 runs in 184 games, ABD is the second highest run getter for a player outside of India.
