When India and Pakistan locked-horns on Sunday, August 28, a Pakistan fan was spotted wearing former India captain Virat Kohli‘s jersey at the Dubai International Stadium. Kohli is one of the players who has fans across the world. The Pakistani fan has Kohli’s name written on his Pakistani jersey.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was finally showing some signs of return after he scored a 24-ball 35 runs before losing his wicket to Mohammad Rizwan. Kohli had been struggling with rough patch for the past couple of months but while playing his 100th T20I against Pakistan yersterday, the talismanic cricketer showed how he is a big match player. He shared the spot of highest score with Ravindra Jadeja with the 35-run knock. He has a decent record against India’s arch-rivals and Indian fans wouln’t wish for more.
Hardik Pandya was the hero of the match
Talking about the match, Rohit Sharma’s winning the toss helped his men bundle out Pakistan for 147 runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya scalped four and three wickets respectively. In fact Bhuvi was the one to break Pakistan’s backbone- captain Babar Azam. Soon Pandya took care of the middle-order batters.
India’s response came slowly but steadily. At one one-end, Kohli was playing slowly but after his and Suryakumar Yadav’s wicket, Ravindra Jadeja took the reigns and along with Pandya, took care of India’s innings. Although, it looked India will easily win the match, fans were stunned to see Jadeja dismissed in the penultimate over. But Pandya, who was also the hero of yesterday’s match, was full of confidence. He assured Dinesh Karthik with a nod that he can finish the innings and so he did in style with a spectacular six and India won the match by five wickets.
