IND vs PAK 2022: “Welcoming Babar Azam to chokers academy”- Twitter claps in joy as No.1 batter Babar Azam falls off Bhuvi’s short delivery

Pakistan captain Babar Azam couldn’t do what he did in last year’s T20 World Cup as Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave the first breakthrough by dismissing him on just 10 runs on Sunday, August 28 in Asia Cup 2022 at the Dubai International Stadium in UAE.

This happened in the third over. Bhuvneshwar bowled a short ball around the middle and Azam tried to pull it but only managed to get a top edge. The ball skied towards the short fine leg and Arshdeep Singh there did no mistake with that easy catch. Pakistan received a massive blow with this.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma-led India won the toss and opted to bowl first. Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed are at the crease right now. Pakistan so far have lost two wickets with the score of 51 in 7.1 (at the time when this article is being written).

In the 6th over by Avesh Khan, he bowled a shorter on around the off and Fakhar Zaman the batter attempted to hang back and cut it away behind point but missed it. Dinesh Karthik caught the ball and made an appeal and before the umpire raised his finger, Zaman was already started walking towards the dressing room.

Now Indian fans can’t keep calm as Paksitan’s one of the heroes last year failed to make an impact in this game. India and Pakistan are part of Group B that also has Hong Kong.
