Since Brendon McCullum‘s taking over as England’s head coach on May 12, 2022, England have never tasted series defeat, though just three Tests ended in draws. Under McCullum and captain Ben Stokes, England thrived with their fearless approach to the game-the Bazball.

Bazball’s main Test was considered to be the India Test series on the subcontinent. India were the heavy favorite, but they were expected to get tough competition from the English side.
