In what comes as a massive delight for Indian cricket team fans, Jasprit Bumrah is all set to make a comeback to cricket after eleven months. Bumrah was named the captain as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) named a 15-member squad for the three-match T20I series against Ireland. Ruturaj Gaikwad has been named his deputy. 

Prasidh Krishna will also be making a comeback to International cricket. The Karnataka pacer last played for India way back in August 2022. The likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma, and Shivam Dube have also been included in the 15-member squad.

Fans excited for Jasprit Bumrah’s comeback to International cricket

As soon as the news of Japrit Bumrah returning to International cricket broke, the internet was flooded with reactions. Fans are eagerly waiting to see the Indian superstar back in action. While some shared Shahrukh Khan’s emotional pictures from Chak De India, some shared clips wherein Bumrah can be seen wreaking havoc with the ball.

A user also pointed out how Prasidh Krishna returning to action is also a positive sign for Team India ahead of the ODI World Cup.

Meanwhile, the return of KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer has been delayed. It is not yet clear when the two middle-order batters will return to play at the biggest stage.
