Indian Captain, Rohit Sharma, posted a reel of him working out in the gym on Instagram on the morning of 11th of August. In the short reel, Sharma can be seen working on his fitness, preparing for the upcoming 3 months. With the ODI World Cup and Asia Cup just a few months away, the Indian captain is ensuring there are no fitness concerns.
Rohit captained the Indian squad in the tour of West Indies for 2 Tests and the first ODI which was infamous as the batting order was shuffled. He returned to India as he wasn’t a part of the T20I squad.
The Indian squad still has huge gaps to fill, as main players like Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rishabh Pant are out injured. Rohit and Head Coach Rahul Dravid are still on the hunt to find their replacements. The team has tried players like Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, and Sanju Samson. Meanwhile, fans and ex-cricketers want the team to try out Mumbai Indian batsman Tilak Varma in the Asia Cup.

India last won the World Cup 12 years ago, with the then-Indian captain and legend MS Dhoni hitting an iconic six to win the competition.
