India’s youngest batting sensation who is touted to become a future superstar, Yashasvi Jaiswal made his T20I debut on Tuesday (8 August). The young left-hander who recently got his Test debut cap and also slammed a century was handed his debut cap in the third T20I against the West Indies.
The Rajasthan Royals batter who holds the record for the fastest fifty in the Indian Premier League (IPL) received his T20I cap from World No.1 T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav. Jaiswal was chosen ahead of Ishan Kishan who failed to impress in the first two T20Is.
“Two changes, Yashasvi makes his debut, and Kuldeep comes in for Bishnoi. Ishan misses out,” Captain Hardik Pandya announced at the toss.
