Historic Day for Indian Cricket in the 2023 Asian Games
In their first attempt in the Asian Games, the Men’s Cricket team achieved gold. Fans were ecstatic with the historical win, but in traditional twitter fashion, everyone had polarizing opinions on the win, while others were just having fun. India won Gold Medals in Men’s Kabaddi, Women’s Kabaddi and Men’s Double in Badminton as well. India has won 104 medals in the Asian Games so far.
Although Indian fans were happy, one user claimed India and Afghanistan should have shared the Gold Medal. Others started joking about how India won the tournament under Ruturaj Gaikwad’s captaincy, who played under MS Dhoni. Opposition fans were unhappy with how India won the Tournament as they didn’t even come in to bat.
