Chennai Super Kings batsman Robin Uthappa and wife Sheethal Uthappa have been blessed with a baby girl whom they named Trinity Thea Uthappa. He announced her birth and name on an Instagram post that he shared on Thursday, July 14.
In the photo, Uthappa could be seen holding the baby girl beside his wife and his little son. He shared the post with the caption: “With hearts that are full we’d love to introduce our newest angel in our lives. Introducing Trinity Thea UTHAPPA. We’re so grateful to you for choosing us to bring you into the world and blessing us to be your parents and your brother.”

Robin Uthappa in IPL 2022
Robin Uthappa helped Chennai Super Kings their fourth IPL trophy in 2021. He was re-signed by the same franchise in 2022. But CSK not just didn’t have a great season but they ended up being at the bottom of the points table, just above their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians. CSK won games out of their 14 matches.
Uthappa started well at first-half of the season by scoring a couple of half-centuries across his five games. He scored his highest individual score against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) with 80 runs off 50 balls. In that same match, he and Shivam Dube also registered a 165-run partnership.
But he benched later after losing his form. He scored just 230 runs in 12 games at an average of 20.91 and a strike rate of 134.50. He then made his appearance in the last two matches of CSK when the franchise wanted to try their bench strength.
He played his last international match in a T20 game against Zimbabwe in Harare in 2015.
