Lord’s cricket ground is one of the most iconic ground in the world. The boundary is really big at the venuw which brings spinners into the match. The straight boundary is 84 metres long whereas the mid-wicket and cover boundaries are 91 metres and 88 metres respectively. It’s tough for the batter to clear the boundaries.

The ground was established in 1814 and was named after Thomas Lord. It’s home teams are Marylebone Cricket Club and Middlesex. The ground is privately owned by the Maryleborne Cricket Club.

The first Test match was played between England and Australia in 1884 while the last Test was played between England and New Zealand in 2022.
