“Rarely seen on the ground,” Jadeja takes cheeky did at injury-prone and ‘RARE’ talent Hardik Pandya
When the anchor of Sports Tak asked Jadeja about Pandya being "rare" due to his being a fast-bowling all-rounder, the former cricketer ended up trolling the all-rounder.

India all-rounder Hardik Pandya is out of action since India’s group-stage match of the 2023 ODI World Cup against Bangladesh. While fielding, he tore his ankle ligament which ruled him out of the tournament. He is set to miss India’s tour of South Africa as well.
Former India cricketer Ajay Jadeja took a cheeky dig at Pandya for being injury-prone, given that the fast-bowling all-rounder missed a lot of cricket prior to the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) due to injury. When the anchor of Sports Tak asked Jadeja about Pandya being “rare” due to his being a fast-bowling all-rounder, the former cricketer ended up trolling the all-rounder.
You didn't get the meaning. He is a very rare talent, he is rarely seen on the ground. He is indeed rare.Jadeja told Sports Tak on YouTube
Pandya, however, is likely to make his return in IPL 2024 but instead of Gujarat Titans (GT), he will be representing Mumbai Indians (MI). Ahead of the auction for IPL 2024, Pandya was traded to MI in a cash deal.
On Hardik Pandya’s captaincy in the T20 World Cup, Ashish Nehra has to say this
Ashish Nehra worked with Hardik Pandya during IPL 2022 and 2023 when the all-rounder donned the GT jersey. Under them, GT won the IPL in their maiden appearance in 2022 and reached the final in the next season. On Pandya’s captaincy in the T20 World Cup, the GT coach believes his injury has made the situation tricky.
During a discussion on Jio Cinema, Nehra said he believes if someone like Rohit Sharma or Virat Kohli is fit, they will definitely be playing in the tournament. However, he feels if Pandya returns to play IPL, it will be a headache for the selectors.
