Jos Buttler answers if he’ll allow Ashwin to Mankad any batter or not
Jos Buttler annd Ashwin
Jos Buttler who is the current Orange cap holder of IPL 2022 says that if he was the captain of any side featuring the veteran Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin he would not let him run out any batsmen from the non striker’s end.
The 31-year-old English batsman also said that if any team intentionally maintains a slow over rate then, to give some advantage to the batting team then one fielder should be brought inside the 30-yard inner circle.
“If you are slow in your overs one of the extra fillers has to come in the (30 yard) circle”, Buttler replied to a question asked to him while chatting with ESPNcricinfo, about a rule that he would like to implement in the IPL from any other T20 cricketing league of the world.

Ravi Ashwin won’t listen to me says Buttler
In the next question Buttler was asked if he would let Ravi Ashwin to mankad any batter if he was captaining the team. Answering to this question Buttler straightforwardly replied “No”. He further said cheekily that Ashwin would not listen to him if he said no to Mankad, a batsman.
Yesterday Rajasthan Royals defeated Delhi Capitals thanks to Buttler’s brilliant display with the bat. The Royals opener smashed 116 runs off 65 deliveries smashing nine fours and nine sixes against the Delhi side. Buttler has been in red-hot form for the Royals and this is his second century in this year’s IPL. Buttler will be looking to match Kohli‘s 2016 record of the most number of runs in an IPL season. Royals are currently equal on points with the Gujarat Titans (second place) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (third place) in the points table.
