In the first ball of 15 over, a LBW trapped Padikkal off Khaleel Ahmed’s full ball. Padikkal looked to flick it but missed and got hit on the pads. The field umpire didn’t give it out and Pant then had to take it upstairs and so Padikkal then was dismissed.

In the last ball of the last over, Mustafizur Rahman delivered a full toss, on leg. Buttler cleared his front leg and smashed it straight to long on where David Warner grabbed it. Finally, RR skipper Sanju Samson played a cameo of 48 from 19 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes and remained unbeaten. RR made a mammoth total of 222 by losing only 2 wickets. Khalil Ahmed and Lalit Yadav only took one wicket each.

Buttler had smashed his first century against Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai and helped RR win the match comfortably. He then scored his 2nd ton against Shreyas Iyer-led Kolkata Knight Riders at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai and RR there won a thrilling battle. He also smashed half-centuries against Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore but RR failed to win against both the teams. Currently, he is wearing the Orange Cap.
