‘King Charles’ playing cricket during Australia vs West Indies sends social media into a frenzy, Barmy Army reacts

During the first T20I match between Australia and West Indies, a picture of ‘King’ and ‘Charles’ playing cricket went viral. The match was played on Friday (February 9) at the Blundstone Arena in Hobart.
During the second innings, West Indies had to chase 214. Brandon King and Johnson Charles walked onto the field to open the innings.
On the screen, their surnames were written, that is, King and Charles and the picture of it went viral. King Charles, that is Charles III (Charles Philip Arthur George), is the king of the United Kingdom and other commonwealth realms.

Australia vs West Indies 1st T20I recap
West Indies skipper Rovman Powell won the toss and opted to bowl first. David Warner‘s 36-ball 70, Josh Inglis‘s 39 off 25, and Tim David’s 17-ball 37 helped Australia post 213/7 in 20 overs.
West Indies openers Brandon King and Johnson Charles stitched 89 runs between them, with each scoring 53 and 42 runs respectively. The visitors were slowly heading toward the target with the quickfire of Jason Holder taking them to 200. Holder slammed 34 from 15 balls but failed to guide his team to the win.
They could reach 202/8, losing the match by 11 runs. Australia took a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. The second match will be played on Sunday (February 11) at Adelaide Oval, while the third match is on February 13 in Optus Stadium.
Before the T20I series, Australia defeated West Indies in the three ODIs, winning all of them. But West Indies were able to tie the two-match Test series after they secured a historic win at fortress Gabba.
