The way KL Rahul is playing against Pakistan right after his comeback from injury is a treat to watch. Against Pakistan spinner Shadab Khan, Rahul smacked an outstanding six at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Monday (September 11) and won the hearts of the netizens.

This happened on the second ball of the 35th over. After smacking the first ball for a boundary, Rahul made perfect use of his wrist to beautifully flick it over the leg side.

Not just the netizens, even Virat Kohli’s and captain Rohit Sharma’s reactions say it all. Kohli, who was batting alongside Rahul, continued to express his astonishment for a while. Rohit, who was sitting in the dugout, was left open-mouthed.

Talking about the match, India started batting on Sunday but due to heavy rain interruption, the match continued on the reserve day. But despite rain during the match hours on the reserve day, India were able to complete their innings.

After two half-centuries from Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul mercilessly feasted on Pakistani bowlers to complete their centuries. India posted 356/2 in their 50 overs. Kohli remained not out at 122 off 94 balls, while Rahul scored an unbeaten 111 off 106 balls.
