KL Rahul pays visit to Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain amid injury struggles ahead of IPL

KL Rahul has been having a tough time. For the past two months, the Indian star has been dealing with injuries which has caused him to miss out on four Tests in the England Test series.
During the first Test in Hyderabad, KL Rahul aggravated an injury which he suffered during the 2023 IPL. Although the National Cricket Academy did not see any problems, he complained of pain and also went to London to meet a specialist.

Now that he has finally gotten clearance from the NCA to participate in the IPL, Rahul visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. He sought the blessings of the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga on the morning of 20th March, 2024.
Rahul will now travel to Chennai for the IPL Captain’s conclave and then will go to Lucknow to join his teammates. Rahul and Lucknow Super Giants look at the 2024 IPL as a way for the batter to return to the Indian T20 side. Instead of opening, he will be playing in the middle order and will keep wickets in the 2024 IPL.
Lucknow Super Giants sees massive change ahead of third season
The Lucknow Super Giants enter to play their third season of the IPL. The team has undergone many changes, including some in their coaching staff. They let go of Andy Flower and replaced him with Justin Langer. Langer coached Perth Scorchers to three Big Bash League titles and won the 2021 T20 World Cup as Australian coach. Lance Klusener joins him as his assistant.

The team has also brought in a massive change to their bowling attack. They purchased David Willey, Shamar Joseph, Arshin Kulkarni, Arshad Khan and Shivam Mavi. KL Rahul is set to play in the middle order, while Devdutt Padikkal and Quinton de Kock will most likely open the batting.
