KL Rahul joins elite list
KL Rahul is one of the most consistent batsmen in IPL and has scored 3538 runs. He became the second Indians batsman after Virat Kohli to slam 2 centuries in a season. It was Rahul’s 4th ton in IPL which also helped him join the elite class. Kohli had scored 4 centuries in 2016.
“He’s (KL Rahul) such a dynamic player and that’s going to bear the fruit of his success for many a year. To continue scoring runs for different franchises is a damn hard to do because there’s so much pressure going into these new franchises. There’s so much pressure on you when you get bought for such big money,” said former England captain Kevin Pietersen hailing KL Rahul.
