Hardik Pandya became only the 3rd Captain to win Man of the Match award in IPL finals

Hardik Pandya was not just an amazing captain for the Gujarat Titans, but he led from the front. He ended the season as the team’s highest run getter with 487 runs while also picking up 8 wickets. He didn’t disappoint in the finals either as he went in to take 3 crucial wickets in his 4 overs and then batted beautifully to help Gujarat chase down and win the game.

Krunal Pandya also enjoyed a good season with the new franchise. The older Pandya scored 183 runs with the bat while also taking 10 wickets this season. A rather lower output than what he has previously managed to achieve with Mumbai Indians in the past. However, both Pandyas will be extremely happy with their performance this season and especially Hardik who led his team to victory in his first ever season as captain of the side.
