“Do baar stump todne ka ghamand hain”- Memes take over Twitter as PBKS thrash MI with Arshdeep Singh’s brilliant spell
Tim David alone couldn't do much, not forget, there were not enough balls left, plus Arshdeep shattered the middle stumps twice in the final over, though couldn't complete his hat-trick.

Mumbai Indians (MI), despite lighting up the Wankhede Stadium with huge maximums, lost the match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 13 runs on Saturday (April 22). For Mumbai, the likes of Rohit Sharma, Cameron Green, Tim David, and Suryakumar Yadav played brilliant innings but failed to chase a down 215-run target.
Chasing the target, Mumbai Indian opener Ishan Kishan got out for one run from four balls. But skipper Rohit Sharma did not disappoint in this match. He took 27 balls to score 44 runs, with four boundaries and three sixes at a strike rate of 162.96. In the 10th over, Liam Livingstone bowled a tossed-up delivery which Rohit tried to hit but edged back to Livingstone who grabbed it easily.
Then Cameron Green handled the responsibility with his brilliant innings. He took 43 balls to score 67 runs, which also had six fours and three sixes at a strike rate of 155.81.
But the man who impressed everyone with his knock was Suryakumar Yadav. The vintage Suryakumar was seen in this match, finally, after several innings. After a series of golden ducks and ducks, Suryakumar scored 57 runs from just 25 balls, and his knock was laced with seven fours and three sixes, at a huge strike rate of 218. But Suryakumar couldn’t make the impossible possible owing to Arshdeep Singh who dismissed the dangerous fish with the help of a catch by Atharva Taide.

Though MI lost this match, the positive thing they would have taken from this match will be Suryakumar’s form. After him, it was on Tim David to produce something to win the match for the hosts. But he alone couldn’t do much, not forget, there were not enough balls left, plus Arshdeep shattered the middle stumps twice in the final over, though couldn’t complete his hat-trick.
