Australia registered a thumping win over Pakistan on home soil by 360 runs in the first Test on December 17 at the Optus Stadium, Perth of the Benaud-Qadir-Trophy. The Asian team is yet to taste a single victory Down Under since 1995.
Former England captain Michael Vaughan feels only the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has the tools to beat the Aussies in Australia. Notably, India defeated Australia in the 2018–19 series under Virat Kohli and the 2020–21 series under Ajinkya Rahane in Australia. Since then, no team has been able to beat them on their home soil. Australia defeated England, West Indies, and South Africa on homesoil since then.

The Aussies are so clinical .. They have everything covered for all conditions .. Well done to @NathLyon421 on 500 Test wickets .. Incredible achievement .. Only @BCCI have the tools to compete here in Oz at this stage ..Vaughan wrote on X
