Former Australian pacer Mitchell Johnson who turned the cricket fraternity’s heads after his column in The West Australian, criticized Cricket Australia (CA) after being invited to an award ceremony. He took to his Instagram Story to express his surprise at the invitation as CA had canceled his two speaking engagements last week.

CA expressed their concerns over Johnson’s column where he blasted his former teammates David Warner and George Bailey. Johnson criticized Warner because of his form and his deciding his own Test retirement date and getting a “hero’s send-off” despite his involvement in the 2018 Sandpaper gate scandal.

Johnson did not stop there, and he continued to attack Warner after he scored a duck in the first Test match against Pakistan in Perth. But this time, he mocked CA for their invitation by posting a screenshot of the invitation and the song ‘Take the Power Back’ by Rage Against The Machine.
