MS Dhoni gets treatment for knee pain by local vaidya who sits under a tree in Ranchi: Reports

Former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who now features only in IPL, is receiving knee treatment from a local practitioner of Ayurveda as per the reports. Dhoni visited the practitioner after his parents had gone there for their own pain relief. He was given one dose of the medicine that costed Rs. 40.
The practicioner’s name is Bandhan Singh Kharwar. He is popular in his area and mixes various herbs in milk and asks his patients to drink it. He said that the World Cup winning captain has taken one dose of the medicine one month ago and that he has no idea when he will visit him for the next dose. He also said that he couldn’t identify MS Dhoni and only after the local youngsters starting posing for photographs that he could got to know him.
About 70 km from Ranchi, at Katingkela in Lapung police station area, Vaidya Bandhan Singh Kharwar sits under a tree and has been treating patients for the last 28 years. He has a tarpaulin tent under a tree and Dhoni has been visiting him for last one month at an interval of four days to get a dose of his medicine.

“MS Dhoni has no pride in being a celebrity”- Vaidhya Bandhan Singh Kharwar

Vaidya Bandhan Singh Kharwar said, “Dhoni comes like a nornal patient without any pomp. He has no pride in being a celebrity. However, now every four days, the news of Dhoni’s arrival gathers his fans here. So now he sits in his car while his medicine is administered to him.”
