Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni turned 42 on Friday (7 July). The Ranchi-born cricketer, adored by millions in the country, stays away from social media. But seeing the love and excitement among the fans for his birthday, the Chennai Super Kings skipper shared an exclusive video. MS Dhoni shared a video of him celebrating his 42nd birthday with his pets. 

While the former India captain stayed away from social media on the big day, MS Dhoni shared glimpses of his simple yet heartwarming birthday celebration through a video on Instagram. In the video, Dhoni is seen cutting a home-baked cake with his four dogs surrounding him.

Dhoni also wrote a special caption wherein he thanked everyone for their wishes.“Thanks a lot for all your warm wishes, a glimpse of what I did on my birthday,” Dhoni captioned his Instagram post. In the video, Dhoni can be seen feeding the cake to his dogs while enjoying a few bites himself.

Fans went crazy as they bombarded the comment section with birthday wishes for Thala even after knowing that Dhoni would have logged out and kept the phone aside. Nevertheless, they were happy to just get a glimpse of their beloved Thala.
