Former India and current Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is a crowd puller and there is no debate about it. Although the 42-year-old does not play cricket on a regular basis, fans turn up in huge numbers to get a glimpse of their beloved Thala. But that is only possible when the IPL season is underway.

However, a few fans were lucky to see their Thala from close quarters as the CSK captain landed in Chennai on Sunday. MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni were spotted at the Chennai Airport.

As the couple walked out through the main exit door, the fans gathered outside the premise started chanting the cricketer’s name. The CSK captain, in response, wore a smile on his face and acknowledged the cheers from his fans.

Why is MS Dhoni in Chennai?

MS Dhoni landed in Chennai on Sunday evening with his wife Sakshi Dhoni. While the fans were happy to get a glimpse of the CSK captain, many were left wondering about the reason behind Dhoni arriving in Chennai. Although the CSK captain keeps visiting his second home, this time it was for a professional reason.

Dhoni and his wife landed in the city for the Audio and Trailer launch of the upcoming movie LGM (Let’s Get Married). The movie is produced by Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd and hence the owners of the production house, Dhoni and his wife will launch the audio and trailer. The production house announced the news on Sunday afternoon.
