Mahendra Singh Dhoni rules the internet and there should be no debate about it. Although the former India captain does not use social media, Dhoni is never out of focus. While sometimes he is in the news for roaming around on the streets of Ranchi in his cars, Dhoni also grabs attention if he poses for a photo with his friend’s children.
MS Dhoni, apart from being a legend in cricket also plays football and tennis. He is often seen playing tennis doubles at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi. His friend Sumeet Kumar Bajaj gets to accompany the former India skipper on the tennis court. While Bajaj holds Dhoni in high regard and calls him “Mahi Sir”, Dhoni treats him as one dear friend.
He also treats Sumeet’s kids like his own which was reflected in a video shared by Bajaj. In the video, Dhoni can be seen posing for pictures with Sumeet’s daughter in his lap. As the kid keeps bringing her chocolate into the frame, Dhoni carefully asks her to lower it a bit. “Isko thoda neeche karlo (Take the chocolate slightly down),” Dhoni is heard saying in the video.

What is MS Dhoni up to these days?
Although MS Dhoni has long retired from International cricket, the 42-year-old finds ways to keep himself busy the right amount. While Dhoni has his fair share of commitments, like running a production house, the former India captain spends time with his family and dogs at his farmhouse in Ranchi. Also, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain is recovering from a knee surgery he underwent after IPL 2023.
As informed by Sakshi Dhoni, the 42-year-old is recovering well. This also means that there might be a possibility that the CSK skipper returns for one more season of IPL next year. When asked after the IPL 2023 final, the CSK captain had not ruled out the possibility of a comeback. But it will be interesting to see if he would want to return considering he got a befitting farewell, winning his 5th IPL trophy.
