 Indian captain Rohit Sharma turns 35 today. Rohit has been flooded with messages and cordial birthday wishes from fans as well as colleagues. Among the wishes the hitman received, we found leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal‘s message very special and cute. 

Usually refers to Sharma as his big Bro and says that his affection and respect for the Indian captain “will always be constant off and on the field”. The Rajasthan Royals leg spinner shared some very special pictures of him alongside Sharma via his Instagram and Twitter.

Chahal had always shared a special bond with Rohit Sharma since his days at Mumbai Indians. Chahal was bought by the Mumbai Indians in his very first IPL complete on the captaincy of current Indian captain Rohit Sharma. 

Chahal was picked up by the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 22 mega auction. He is having an outstanding tournament so far and is the purple cap holder currently by taking 18 wickets in eight matches. The Royals are having a season to remember, as all their departments have been firing equally well.

On the contrary, Rohit Sharma struggled with the five-time champions Mumbai Indians. He has had a modest average of 19 this season, scoring 153 runs in eight matches. This is Mumbai‘s worst start to any IPL, as they have lost all of their matches so far.

Mumbai Indians play the Rajasthan Royals on 30th April at the DY Patil Stadium. Mumbai or in desperate need of a win to draw some positives out of the season. But defeating the Rajasthan Royals is gonna be an uphill battle for sure. Whereas Rajasthan would be looking to extend their winning streak. The Royals will be eyeing an early play-off spot, and what better way to start than defeat the most successful franchise of IPL.
