Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pacer Naveen Ul Haq took a subtle dig at Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Virat Kohli as the Afghanistan cricketer shared a picture with LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir. This comes after the on-field spat with Kohli when LSG and RCB met last time in IPL 2023. The two players had a heated exchange of words during and after the match.

While Kohli and Haq were having a go at each other, Gautam Gambhir also got involved as he was trying to ‘protect’ his family-like player from Kohli. The on-field spat was then carried off the field as Haq and Kohli both shared quotes on their Instagram stories. Now, while Kohli seems to have let go of this entire episode, Haq is still not over it.

The LSG pacer took a subtle dig at Virat Kohli through a cryptic post on Instagram. “Treat people the way you want to be treated. Talk to people the way you want to be talked to,” wrote Haq while posing alongside Gambhir in the picture.

Naveen misses out on GT clash

lsg vs gt

While the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pacer is busy taking digs at Virat Kohli on Instagram, Naveen Ul Haq could not make it to the playing XI for his team’s match against Gujarat Titans (GT). Haq missed out on the GT clash as Quinton de Kock replaced him. It was more of a forced change than a tactical move from LSG.

With KL Rahul injured and ruled out, it seems Haq will be warming the bench for most of the games now. De Kock will be opening the innings and hence would play in all matches from hereon. The other three overseas slots seem to be full with Marcus Stoinis, Kyle Mayers, and Nicholas Pooran.

In case you missed!
