The captaincy saga between Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma is all the cricketing fraternity is talking about right now. The all-rounder recently replaced Sharma as the captain of the Mumbai Indians and it was not well received by fans as well.
With fans and media divided over the entire situation, Navjot Singh Sindhu had his say about the entire saga. In a video released by Star Sports, the former Indian opener spoke about how he played under many captains during his time in the Indian team.

He emphasized how none of the former captains had any issues with it as they all played for the nation. As the motivation was playing for the team, it did not make Rohit Sharma smaller than Hardik Pandya. He also thought the baton of captaincy had been passed on, like how MS Dhoni passed it down to Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Sidhu did acknowledge the fact that this was a franchise and not the national team, where performances mattered more. He theorized that maybe Pandya was appointed as captain after MI’s poor performances in the past three years, which needed to be accepted. But Sidhu had to remind everyone that Sharma was a great player and recited a great Sidhuism.

Rohit Sharma recreates Harshit Rana’s flying kiss send-off to Mayank Agarwal
On 23rd March, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders faced off in the IPL. During the 2nd innings, Harshit Rana dismissed Mayank Agarwal and sent him off by blowing a kiss. Rana then went on to defend 13 runs in the final over, but was penalized by the IPL for his send-off.

Three days later, SRH and Mumbai Indians trained in the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in preparation for their clash on the 27th. Rohit Sharma was seen chatting with Agarwal and then jokingly blew him off, to which the Karnataka opener burst out laughing.
Sunrisers Hyderabad had posted the photo of the two, with the caption “Flying kisses and friendly rivalries”. Although the post went viral, it was deleted by the team.
