Rohit Sharma looked set and ready to convert his half century into a century. He had scored 81 off 57 balls and was connecting every ball with ease. It looked like Rohit Sharma would reach his 31st century this match, but Glenn Maxwell arrived.
Maxwell had already dismissed opener Washington Sunder in the 11th over. 10 overs later, Maxwell was bowling to the Indian captain. Just two balls ago, Rohit had hit the Australian off spinner for a six. He bowled to Rohit and the ball returned to Maxwell a bit quicker.
Maxwell went to dodge the ball and stuck his hand out to block it. Somehow, the ball stayed in his right hand. Maxwell was shocked he even caught that, but it was enough to dismiss the in-form batsman. Glenn Maxwell went ahead and picked up the wickets of Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer as well.

Netizens call Rohit Sharma unlucky after he misses yet another century

India are in hot water as of now, as they need 86 runs in 5 overs. Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah are in the middle batting for India, but with the amount of wickets left, it looks difficult for India to whitewash Australia in this ODI series.
