After India lost three wickets early, captain Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja put India in the driver’s seat, because it was difficult for the English bowlers to break the partnership. But after Mark Wood gave the breakthrough, it was a chance for debutant Sarfaraz Khan to showcase his ability for the national team.

The 26-year-old did not disappoint at all, for he quickly scored his half-century off 48 balls and was heading toward his maiden century. Because of the hype around him, many expected him to prove that he can do the same in Test cricket he has been doing in the Ranji Trophy.

This is the reason why Ravindra Jadeja is facing the wrath of the fans. This unexpected dismissal angered captain Sharma, who threw off his cap in the dressing room.
