In the Vitality Blast match between Sussex and Hampshire, one incident became the talking point of the town. Sussex was defending 183 runs when their pacer Bradley Currie pulled off a mind-boggling one-handed stunner to dismiss Benny Howell on Friday (June 16) at the County Ground in Hove.

This catch by Currie is deemed one of the best catches in the history of cricket. The incident took place in the 19th over when a fullish delivery from Tymal Mills was smacked hard by Howell and it would have crossed the boundary rope for a six. But Currie came running from the left and with a high dive he plucked the ball with his one hand to the absolute bewilderment of Howell.

Talking about the match, Sussex put on 182 on the scoreboard and restricted Hampshire to 177/9. Apart from that stunner, Bradley Currie also picked up three wickets for 27 runs.

His first wicket was James Vince, who fell cheaply on eight runs. He then dismissed Toby Alber for a duck before getting rid of Ross Whiteley on one run off five balls. His bowling helped his side win the match by six runs.
