In the second and third ODI matches between India and Australia, the pitches have been batter-friendly. The second ODI was played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore, while the ongoing third ODI is being played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on Wednesday (September 27).

In the second ODI, India scored 399/5 in their 50 overs after batting first. Australia in the third ODI, chose to bat first and put on 352/7 on the board in their 50 overs. The batters from Down Under struggled a lot in the first two ODIs.

After a 78-run stand between the Aussie openers, David Warner and Mitchell Marsh, the scoreboard still kept running at a faster rate. Warner played a 34-bal 65-run knock, while Marsh missed hitting his century by four runs. He took 84 balls to score 96 runs with 13 fours and three sixes.

Later, Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne led the attack with their half-century knocks. Smith smacked 74 runs from 61 balls, while Labuschagne blasted 72 runs off 58 balls. The four half-centuries powered the Aussies to the 300-plus score.

Though the Aussies turned their beast mode on in the third ODI, netizens left unimpressed. They pointed out how the visitors were struggling badly in the series and could score runs only on flat pitches. Fans mocked Australia by saying that their batting has been exposed before the ODI World Cup.
