MS Dhoni is currently in the US, enjoying his free time after participating in the Indian Premier League (IPL). A couple of pictures and videos have surfaced online where Dhoni could be seen playing golf with former US President Donald Trump at the latter’s Trump National Golf Club Bedminster.
A day before the golf-in incident, Dhoni was spotted at the Arthur Ashe Stadium watching the quarter-final match between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev in the 2023 US Open. The next day, MS Dhoni’s friend Hitesh Sanghvi, a Dubai-based businessman, shared Dhoni’s pictures of him playing golf with Trump.
He captioned the Instagram post with: “Golf with @mahi7781, @realdonaldtrump and @rajiv.knack…….thank you mr President for hosting us“.

Meanwhile, Dhoni, after leading Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to their fifth IPL trophy, underwent knee surgery in Mumbai. After recuperating from it, he was seen promoting his first Telugu movie Let’s Get Married from his production company Dhoni Entertainment.
The 42-year-old may and may not play in the 17th edition of the IPL. After CSK’s triumph in the 2023 IPL final, Captain Cook stated that his participation in the next season will be solely based on his fitness. In the 2023 season, though he showed a glimpse of his vintage form in a couple of matches, he did not get the chance to bat on multiple occasions.
