Between the 2023 Asia Cup and ICC ODI World Cup, there will be the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, and cricket has been included in it. Cricket will be played from September 28 to October 8.

Ahead of the Asian Games, the jerseys the players are going to wear have been revealed. And pictures of the players donning the jersey have gone viral on social media platforms and needless to say, it invited mockery.

Like most of the time, fans left disappointed seeing the design of the jersey. The jersey is made up of two colors, dark and light blue with ‘INDIA’ written on the front.

Fans are saying that a glimpse at the jersey made them think that the players are participating in badminton or volleyball. Some fans opined that the current Adidas jersey Rohit Sharma and Co. are wearing should have looked better on the players. Another section of fans was remembering the old Sahara jersey players used to wear.

Talking about the Asian Games, Ruturaj Gaikwad will lead the side in the Asian Games. There will also be women’s cricket and Harmanpreet Kaur will captain the Women in Blue, though she will miss games as she received a two-match ban from the International Cricket Council (ICC). In Men’s cricket, 18 teams will participate, while in Women’s cricket, there will be 14 teams. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Co. will start their campaign on October 5.
