Pakistan are facing South Africa on Friday (October 27) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The match is an important one for Pakistan, for they need to win it to stay alive in the tournament. During the match, a bizarre incident took place.
This happened on the fifth ball of the 19th over. South Africa’s Rassie van der Dussen was adjudged LBW off Usama Mir‘s delivery. Van der Dussen instantly went upstair for the third umpire’s decision.

However, Ball Tracking showed the ball had missed the leg stump. And on the second time, it showed the umpire’s call. Van der Dussen had to depart for just 21 runs from 39 balls. Also, van der Dussen became the first batter to get dismissed by a concussion substitute in World Cups. Pakistan had brought Usama as concussion substitute for Shadab Khan.
