Tamim Iqbal to feature in Asia Cup 2023

After reversing his retirement decision, Tamim Iqbal will lead the Tigers in the 2023 Asia Cup as well as the 2023 ODI World Cup. Iqbal will be featuring in the Asia Cup after one-and-a-half years as the veteran batter missed out on the 2022 edition as he retired from T20Is a few months prior to the tournament.
Nevertheless, with the 2023 Asia Cup set to be played in the 50-over format, Iqbal will be leading Bangladesh. The Tigers have been placed in Group B with Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.
