South Africa and Sri Lanka will play the first match of the tournament here on October Saturday (October 7). In total, Arun Jaitley Stadium will host a total of five matches, including India’s clash against the Afghanistan.

The pitch in Delhi is known to be slow but over the years, batters have piled up a lot of runs in ODI cricket. However, at one point, the pitch was notorious for its uneven bounce which is why the International Cricket Council (ICC) banned it from hosting matches for 12 months.
