Pakistan A team, bolstered by international cricketers won the ACC Men’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023 by beating India A by a huge margin of 128 runs in the final at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo this year. The India A team was full of young cricketers and Pakistan having the experienced players meant that they were at the receiving end on Twitter despite the victory.
Fans slammed the team and memes went viral when Pakistan A won the tournament. But now, Pakistan A skipper Mohammad Haris issued a stinging remark against India A side.
Haris said there was no need to send “little kids” to play in the tournament. He also claimed that Pakistan A players had not much experience playing international cricket but India A players have more than 200 IPL match experiences under their belt.
“People are saying that Pakistan sent a team with many seniors. We did not ask them to send little kids to the tournament. They say that we had international matches in our team. How many international matches have we played? Saim has played five, and I have played six. Those guys (India players) have 260 IPL matches,” said Haris said in the viral video.

India A skipper Yash Dhull won the toss and chose to bowl first. Pakistan A’s Tayyab Tahir slammed 108 runs from 71 balls, while the openers Manav Suthar and Sahibzada Farhan slammed their half-centuries. They powered the team score to 352/8 in 50 overs.
From India, A, only Abhishek Sharma could score his half-century. He slammed 61 runs from 51 balls, while the next high scorer, Yash Dhull, could add 39 runs from 41 balls.
With Sufiyan Muqeem’s three scalps, Pakistan A bundled out their opponents for just 224 runs in 40 overs, winning the match by 128 runs to become the champion.
