Power couple Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma visit Alibaug for construction of new house on 8-acre land

Indian Star batsman Virat Kohli and his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, were spotted in the coastal town of Alibaug. They purchased 8 acres of land in the city and will build a house in the property. The couple were swarmed by fans on roads when they spotted the couple and interacted with the fans. 

The news of this purchase comes days after Virat Kohli debunked a post that claimed that he earns a humongous amount of Rs. 11.5 Crore per sponsored post. He is the most followed Cricketer and Asian on Instagram with 256 Million followers

Earlier, there were reports that Kohli and Anushka bought this land for a massive Rs 19.24 crore. The power couple purchased the land parcel from Sameera Habitats (real estate developer).

Virat Kohli ended his last Asia Cup campaign with his 1st T20I century. This was also his first century in over 3 years. Since then, he’s been in red hot form scoring 3 ODI centuries and 2 Test centuries. He also scored a match winning 82 of 53 against Pakistan. He averages 53.38 in 2023 with one half century and two centuries. 

With 2 weeks left for the Asia Cup to start, the BCCI has not yet announced the squad for the event. Regulars like captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, etc will feature and pacers Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami will return to the team after they were rested in the West Indies tour. In the last 5 ODI series India have played, they beat Sri Lanka, New Zealand and West Indies, while losing to Bangladesh and Australia.
