Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Mumbai Indians by 3 runs in a thriller must-win for the Men in Orange. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled brilliantly in the last over with a wicket maiden over. SRH were asked to bat first and so they added a challenging total of 193.
Rahul Tripathi kept adding more runs before getting dismissed by Ramandeep Singh. Ramandeep bowled round the wicket ad served it on length. Tripathi swung his bat but a top edge made the ball fly to long-on where Tilak Varma took it. He had scored 76 off 44 balls with 9 fours and 3 sixes.
Speedster Umran Malik bagged the most wickets for SRH with 3 wickets, dismissing Ishan Kishan, Daniel Sams, and Tilak Varma. Bhuvneshwar Kumar conceded 23 runs in his 3 overs and was handed the ball in the penultimate over and what happened? Four yorkers were delivered one after the other to the ‘Yorker Kings’ Jasprit Bumrah, to get his maiden wicket in a maiden over.

“When you play it’s obviously your dream to represent your country”- Rahul Tripathi
The Player of the Match Rahul Tripathi said:
“I’ve enjoyed batting at three. It’s important that if the openers have given a good start, then continuing that. Or whatever the situation demands I’m trying to learn from that. Bumrah’s a great bowler. Was just looking to react to whatever he’s bowling.”
“Depends on how the wicket is playing, how I can counterattack at that point. If it’s there and I can take it on, I will definitely go for the shot. If it’s not there then I’ll just look to take those singles-doubles. To win games is more important, happy I could do that today.”
“Sometimes when a bowler is bowling well, how to score those runs. In T20 there cannot be a moment where you can slow down. Every ball is an event so I just think what could be the best result. When you play it’s obviously your dream to represent your country.”
