Shimron hetmyer

In a major boost to Rajasthan Royals, their star finisher, Shimron Hetmyer has returned to the Rajasthan camp on the back of the birth of his first child. Hetmyer had left the the Rajasthan Squad to attend the birth of his baby boy in Guyana. Thus, missing their games against Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals. Rajasthan’s replacements for Hetmyer, Rassie Van Der Dussen and James Neesham haven’t been able to fill into the Guyanese’s shoes.

The 25 year old’s presence was especially felt against Delhi Capitals where Rajasthan Royals needed a finisher to put up a good total but were lacking the services of Shimron Hetmyer. However, RR’s win against LSG means that the team is now 2nd on the points table with a game to go. On the brink of qualification, Rajasthan can confirm a second place finish if they win against Chennai Super Kings.
