Shimron Hetmyer and wife Nirvani
Shimron Hetmyer has become father for the first time and on Tuesday morning on May 10, he broke the good news. He took to his Instagram to share a cute video of himself playing with his baby. The pictures and post went viral in no time with wishes pouring from everywhere. He expressed his love for his wife also in the post.

To attend his baby’s birth, he has temporarily left the Rajasthan Royals’ camp midway but promised to come back later. After RR’s win over Punjab Kings on Saturday at the Wankhede Stadium, he left the bio-bubble and flew back to Guyana. And now that his child has come to this world, the left-handed batsman is expected soon to join the camp.
Following the West Indians’ departure, the Rajasthan Royals issued a statement, “We are helping him in every way we can, and our best wishes are with him and his wife Nirvani. We look forward to Shimron then returning to Mumbai, and resuming duties at the Royals for the remainder of our matches in IPL 2022.”

Shimron Hetmyer’s performance in IPL 2022
This season has been great one for the explosive batsman so far. He has been in a staggering form and it can be judged from his numbers. He has scored so far 291 runs in 11 matches with an average of 70 and a strike rate of 160. Since he has been given the role of a finisher, he is doing it so very well.
Not only his finishing touches help the team, but at times when the top order falters, the 25-year-old came out as a repairer for the team.
The Men in Pink are currently occupying the third position in the points table. His position has been a very crucial one for the team and his absence for a long time might hamper the team’s performance. After the conclusion of the IPL 2022, Hetmyer will be with his family, spending time with his new born baby.
