Virat Kohli has been playing for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru since the start of the IPL. Since then he has gone to two IPL finals, including one as captain, but has failed to win it a single time.
Looking at the form RCB are in, it seems like RCB could go another season without a title. They currently stand 8th in the points table with only one win in four matches. Despite the poor run, Virat Kohli has been performing with the bat, scoring 203 runs in four innings.
This has been the story for the past 16 seasons as well, with RCB failing to make a mark. In 17 seasons, he has scored 7466 runs in 241 matches with an average of 37.71 and a strike rate of 130.3. Former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri, who once doubted if Kohli still has it in him for the T20 World Cup, claimed if the IPL was an individual sport, things would be much different.

On 2nd April, Royal Challengers Bengaluru lost to Lucknow SuperGiants by 28 runs. Chasing 182, they managed only 153 thanks to a magnificent spell by Mayank Yadav and Co. After the match, infamous actor Kamaal R. Khan blamed Virat Kohli for the loss.
Bhai sahab Virat Kohli Every year Ki Tarah, Iss Saal Bhi RCB Ko Harakar Hi Maanoge. (Virat Kohli, you will be happy only if RCB lose.) You are too much greedy.Kamaal R. Khan on X
Khan had earlier claimed that Kohli was a terrible presence and caused RCB to lose every year. He asked Kohli to drop himself from the RCB side after his slow 83 against KKR and claimed if King Kohli doesn’t play, RCB would win the IPL.
