Ravichandran Ashwin is very active on social media as he keeps sharing his opinions and takes part in discussions about trending topics. But his tweets and replies often leave the netizens in splits.
He once reacted to a parody account of Narendra Modi by writing how glad he was he got a reply from PM Modi. And recently, a parody account of Mahatma Gandhi received a reply from Ashwin.
Ashwin’s post was about the upcoming T20 World Cup as he wrote that the other teams would gear up to challenge defending champions England. Notably, England won the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia by beating Pakistan by five wickets. Ashwin was a late addition to the Indian squad.
Coming back to the present story, the parody account of Mahatma Gandhi opined that Ashwin deserves a place in the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup, and the spinner acknowledged the tweet.

Ravichandran Ashwin, who has played with Riyan Parag for the Rajasthan Royals (RR), lauded his teammate. He thinks fans shouldn’t criticize him due to his performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) by not forgetting Parag is still a youngster.
The 37-year-old pointed out how Parag is getting better and contributed to the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Also, it will be interesting to watch how Parag performs in the 2024 IPL, given that he is consistently amassing runs in domestic cricket.
