Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin displayed his sense of humor when he congratulated the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on their incredible Chandrayaan-3 moon landing accomplishment. Following the successful gentle landing at the south pole of the moon, Ashwin tweeted on X (formerly known as Twitter) to pay tribute to the historic event.
Ashwin received a response to his tweet from a satirical account impersonating Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ashwin took part in a lighthearted conversation with the satirical Modi, causing his X followers to chuckle with amusement.
Ravichandran Ashwin responded with a mockingly humble tone to the parody account’s message, asking, “Sir, how are you? I am thrilled that you responded to my tweet. I am privileged.” This witty response demonstrated his ability to manage such situations with grace and sarcasm. While some Twitter users were momentarily deceived by Ashwin’s response, his subsequent tweets revealed that he was parodying the Prime Minister and not the real one.
Ashwin’s recent accomplishments in cricket include an outstanding performance during India’s Test series victory in the West Indies. The selection committee astonished many by excluding him from the 2023 Asia Cup in Sri Lanka, despite his impressive form.
