During India’s latest test series with the West Indies, Ashwin’s claim to this exclusive record came to light. He added Tagenarine Chanderpaul‘s son to his list of victims by bowling him out. During his Test debut in 2011, he dismissed Tagenarine’s father, the renowned Shivnarine Chanderpaul.

Ashwin has now become a member of a privileged group of cricketers worldwide who have accomplished this remarkable feat. Among them are  Wasim Akram of Pakistan, Simon Harmer of South Africa, Mitchell Starc of Australia, and Ian Botham of England.
