On Friday (February 9), Ravindra Jadeja‘s father did not mince his words while talking about the family rift. Jadeja’s father, Anirudhsinh Jadeja, accused his son’s wife, Rivaba Jadeja, of creating a family rift.

Anirudhsinh, speaking to a Gujarat daily, Divya Bhaskar, said that since Jadeja’s marriage with Rivaba, things have not been good in the family. He also alleged that Rivaba tried to force her husband to transfer the ownership of the restaurant to her name.

Anirudhsinh revealed that he lives alone in Jamnagar in a 2BHK flat and has not talked with his son for many years. Jadeja took to X (formerly Twitter) to deny the allegations, saying the interview was scripted, and was meant to tarnish the image of his wife, who is also a BJP MLA.

Amidst all this, Jadeja’s old post of respecting parents went viral. The 35-year-old posted it on November 2, 2012, four years before marrying Rivaba.

On February 10, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squad for the next three Tests against England. Jadeja will feature in those Tests, but his addition to the playing XI will be subject to fitness.

India lost the first Test but won the second one to level the series. The third Test will be played in Rajkot from February 15. Apart from Jadeja, KL Rahul‘s inclusion will also be subject to fitness.
