Kiran More, a former Indian wicketkeeper, believes that Rinku Singh, a rising talent in the sport of cricket, has the potential to become a legendary finisher comparable to MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh. Recent performances by Rinku have grabbed the attention of all the cricket fans and experts.

Rinku Singh, who was the highest run-scorer at No.5 and No.6 position in the IPL 2023, accumulated a total of 416 runs in merely thirteen innings with an impressive strike rate of 145.45 with three half-centuries. Notably, among the 12 batters who faced at least 75 deliveries in the final overs, Singh’s strike rate of 186.67 was the second-highest among Indian batters, following only Heinrich Klaasen’s 187.36.

Kiran More highlighted Singh’s potential for the position, stating, “I have been anticipating his opportunity with the Indian national team. And that No. 5 and No. 6 batting position, he will perform well and could become an outstanding finisher.” Abhishek Nayar, who has worked closely with Singh, agreed, stating that Singh is ideally suited for the role of a finisher.
