India were in a precarious situation earlier in their innings in the third T20I against Afghanistan. They lost four wickets for 22 runs, and surprisingly, it came at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, where usually sixes and fours galore because of its shorter boundary. But captain Rohit Sharma, after registering two consecutive ducks in the previous matches, became India’s rescuer on Wednesday (January 17).
Rohit came in the clutch after what could be called one of his best innings in the format. When Indian batters were losing wickets for ducks or one run, Rohit remained unbeaten till the end.

But what happened in the last over was the most enthralling! Karam Janat, the Afghan bowler, was hit for 36 runs after Rohit scored a four off the first ball. After a no-ball, Rohit used the chance to send the ball across the boundary rope and followed it with a single to give the strike to Rinku. Rinku being Rinku smacked three sixes on the trot to take India to 212/4 in 20 overs.

Rohit Sharma was brutally trolled because of the two ducks. The first duck was a result of a mix-up with Shubman Gill. But as Rohit registered another duck, he was not spared by the netizens.
