India wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant who is recovering from injuries at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru reunited with his Team India mates on Monday (26 June). Pant met Shardul Thakur, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Mohammed Siraj. KL Rahul who is also at the NCA also joined these for a picture.
Pant shared the pictures on Instagram and said it was “fun with the gang”. Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal was at his witty best yet again. The leg-spinner was seen fooling around with Thakur.

How long till Rishabh Pant comes back?
Every time there is an update about Rishabh Pant, fans get curious to know about the wicketkeeper’s comeback to cricket. Ever since the 25-year-old suffered a horrific car accident, Pant has been out of action. While the dynamic batter was dearly missed at the World Test Championship (WTC) Final, fans are hoping Pant comes back in time for the ODI World Cup.
Pant’s speed of recovery has also sent encouraging signals but these are not strong enough to believe that the wicketkeeper batter might be fit before the 2023 ODI World Cup. Although Pant is making steady progress, the 25-year-old Delhi cricketer is far from match-fit. According to reports, it would take more than six months for Pant to be fit enough to return to the ground. Also, even then, Pant will only be able to play as a batter.
